Toddler With Communication Difficulties

Does your toddler or young child have problems with their speech?
Are you a child who has a stutter/stammer? In this article I write about communication and speech problems in childhood.

The type of speech impediment I am going to concentrate on is stuttering. I myself had a stutter from the age of four and it was after eighteen years and at the age of twenty-two, that I finally managed to overcome it.

I was not alone as many children have problems with their speech from an early age. It is estimated that one percent of people in England have a stutter.

In most cases people start stuttering in childhood, often when they are a toddler. This can be a very worrying and stressful period for parents and the child alike, and where to seek help can often be difficult to know. To attend speech therapy straight away, can have a damaging affect as it can over-highlight the problem to the child and can make them withdraw into their shells. Parents though in most cases are not happy to just ignore the problem and to hope it goes away of its own accord.

Stuttering affects people in different ways. Some people who stutter are very good at hiding it and are sometimes known as a closet stutterer. Many people they mix with, may not even be aware that they have a stuttering problem. They have become so good at avoiding certain words or by finding alternative words, that they can make out that they are fluent. This takes a lot of effort though and it comes as more of a shock to people when the person does actually stutter.

Other people who have a stutter are unable to do this and can have what is seen as a more severe stutter.

A stutter would normally occur more when a person is:

under pressure

very tired

meeting new people

speaking in an uncomfortable situation

asking questions, for example asking for directions

introducing people

Stuttering therapy:

There are many types of stuttering therapy or stuttering treatments available these days. Most people would first try a speech therapist or speech pathologist. Alternatively they can attend a speech course which can be in a group or on a one to one basis.

I personally prefer and advise one to one stutter courses as I believe every person who has a stutter is an individual and has their own individual type of stutter.

There are also stuttering self help dvd’s or stuttering self help ebooks now available for people who do not feel they have the confidence to attend a speech course.

Stephen Hill helps people to achieve fluency. He has a number of websites where you are able to request a free information pack, including:

Stock Market Advice For Picking Hot Stocks

Filed under: Finance, Stocks-Mutual-Funds — David Jenyns @ 9:27 pm

The best Stock Market advice you will ever read is to learn from mistakes when someone else has made them. So, this stock market advice list I made a list of some of the most common trading mistakes that are made. Even I`ve made some of these. If you have already made some of the mistakes, you can rest assured that you aren`t alone in making them. If you haven`t made them, then here`s a way to get around having to learn by making the mistakes yourself, by reading my stock market advice list.

The Stock Market advice tip #1, and worst mistake that people make is that they believe trading is the easy answer, a way to get rich quickly. People will often expect to become wizards in the market overnight, but they fail to realize that trading is like any profession; you must learn how to do it first.

For example, would you attend a weekend doctor`s seminar and expect to conduct heart surgery on Monday? Of course not! I am shocked at what people expect when they go to a weekend trading seminar. They think they will create wealth without having to work, invest or think, and it just doesn`t happen that way.

After treating trading like a get rich quick scheme, my next stock market advice tip #2 and most common mistake, is to approach the market without a plan. Without a trading plan, traders approach the market in an inconsistent manner. One day they trade stocks and the next they trade the foreign exchange. Or, they may use one set of indicators one day, and the next day they will throw these indicators out the window and take on a completely new set. Without a consistent approach, the only thing governing their trading decisions is really emotions, and that will doom them to failure.

If a new trader has managed to skip these last two mistakes, they often fall down when they try to go it alone. This is my Stock Market advice #3, all traders should find themselves a coach, or a mentor. Someone who can help them spot the errors in their system that they might not have noticed. An outside point of view can help you avoid other costly mistakes, and greatly increase your profits.

These are some common and quite basic mistakes. The next errors I`ll mention are ones that are just as prevalent in the trading industry, but they often occur once traders have been around for a while. I have some personal experience with these mistakes. Let`s call this stock market advice list, the three most expensive mistakes I`ve made.

My stock market advice mistake tip #4, or the first most expensive mistake, I made was to search for the “Holy Grail” of trading. This was an incredible waste of both time and money. During the first three years of my trading career, I spent over $25,677 on a library full of books, videos and seminars as well as spending thousands of hours in search of the perfect trading methods. Honestly, 95% of what I bought was pure junk… I should have listened to my mentor earlier and realized the “Holy Grail” of trading is simply excellent money management!

My stock market advice mistake tip #5 or the second most expensive mistake I made was not having a predefined exit point. Early in my trading career, I remember trading a stock I thought had a high percentage chance of rising. I was too confident. I fully leveraged the position. Unfortunately, when things did not go as planned, I did not know when to exit, and was paralysed. I kept rationalizing why I should hold onto that stock. As the stock continued to fall, I made more and more excuses. At the very end, I remember thinking, “I can`t take it anymore!”

I sold out. That, of course, was the point the stock turned.

I learned two very valuable lessons that day. First, always have your exit points predefined. Second, big losses once started out as small losses, and it is much easier to take a small loss than a big one.

My Stock Market advice mistake tip #6 or the last most expensive mistake, I made is not one that took money out of my pocket; instead it was a mistake that made me leave money on the table. In fact, this reoccurring mistake cost me big.

Early on, I remember selling positions as soon as they showed a profit. I would not let my profits run, as I was too afraid to give the money back to the market. I figured the profit as mine. The result was that I ended up selling the stocks that were making me money.

It wasn`t until my mentor explained to me that when you are trading, and showing a profit, that is the point where you should be adding to the position, not closing it out, that I began to understand what I was doing. Once I started following his advice, my trading profits soared.

Trading is not an easy profession, but it give you great rewards. Avoid these common errors on my Stock Market advice list, create a simple, well-designed trading system, and learn your market. If you take the time to study the market, and learn from other`s mistakes as well as your own, you will become a successful trader.

‘No Phone Calls Please!’ The Dumbest Recruiting Phrase, Ever

Ah, we live in a world of emails and the Internet, and isn’t it easier than having real-time conversations with people?

It may seem easier, but when it comes to recruiting, especially for call center positions, it’s absolutely essential to screen candidates by phone.

Why?

We need to hear their voices, because what we hear is what we get. We’re not hiring resumes; we’re hiring communicators.

Specifically, telephone screening accomplishes these crucial things:

(1) We can scope out the basic pleasantness or unpleasantness of their voices. If you can’t stand hearing that candidate’s voice, your customers will probably have the same reaction.

(2) We can challenge them by asking questions about their capabilities, experience, and other job related factors. If they hesitate or freeze up, guess what they’re going to do when customers are on the line.

(3) If they have sold before, by phone, we can ask them to role-play their last script with us. This will enable us to hear if that sort of selling style is compatible with ours, and whether they were scripted, at all. If they say they just improvised, you have a chance to tell them they’ll be using a script at your company. Can they handle that?

(4) You can discuss the pay plan, and you should do so. Whether it’s good, bad, or indifferent, it is a crucial factor. If they won’t or can’t work for the dollars you’re providing, or under a commission plan, screen them out, now.

(5) Any anomalies in their resumes can be covered and clarified right away, without wasting time with an interview.

The ONLY factor is whether they’re good on the phone, if it is a phone job.

Therefore, can you believe how stupid it is for recruiters to staff call centers by insisting there be “No phone calls, please!”

Well, that’s what you get when you delegate a phone task to a non-phone person!

The Scars of Poverty

The screeching of tortured tyres, the frantic slamming of a car brake and the resounding thud of a body sent me racing towards the scene of the incident. A handful of people had also heard the deafening sound and had crammed around muttering curses under their breath.

Laying in the pool of his blood, was a child of about eight years old. An old, chopped plastic tray lay close to his blood-soaked head and lying in clusters were five pieces of cake each tied in a transparent polythene bag. A glance at him told me he was dead.

A woman forced her way through the sea of humans and let out an earsplitting, nerve shattering scream; she picked up the boy and shouted in a frenzied voice, “who did this? Amos you can’t die, you are my only child.” She rolled on the tarmac, slamming her hand on the blood stained tar. It took half dozen men to sedate and drag her away from the corpse of her only child.

It was a pathetic sight, the child was a hawker, and he had been hawking cake and on that fateful day he had rushed off to sell to a motorist who had beckoned him and in the quest of trying to beat his colleagues to the sale had ventured into the main road oblivious of the vehicle that sent him to an untimely death.

In Nigeria, a country blessed with numerous mineral resources, such sorry sights stare the citizens in the face squarely. This is called ‘CHILD ABUSE’.

Who was to blame for the untimely death of this promising little boy? He was promising as far as I know; every human being borne of a woman is significant and should be given the chance to prove their significance, but not as hawkers. Would one be wrong if they blamed the child for not being careful enough or should the blame go to his mother who allowed her only child go hawking albeit knowing the impending dangers the child was exposed to. But what chance does a single parent without a lucrative job have in raising her son the right way without upsetting or violating the laws governing child abuse; or should the government be blamed for plunging more than half the Nigerian population to poverty. Statistics show that half of the country’s citizen lives below the poverty line. Only poverty could have made the woman commit child abuse ignorantly or nonchalantly.

Nigeria had been shrouded in a misty, sulphuric haze of fear, uncertainty, insecurity, instability and impending loom of unprecedented disaster during the long military era. The dispensation had put the economy in a state of perpetual decay and decadence with military head of states embezzling and stacking the country’s money in bank accounts outside the shores of the country, and rampant killings of opposition groups.

In the year 1999 when the military era gave way to democracy controversially due to the death of General Sani Abacha there were broad smiles on the faces of all Nigerians. It was a crucial time for Nigerians, the chaotic disorder in the country made everyone pray for a change; a dramatic and if possible radical change.

Two men contested for the hot seat but one was highly favoured; maybe because he was a former military head of state who handed over to a civilian in the year 1979 or maybe because he escaped death by the whiskers after being incarcerated by the Abacha government. He was released from prison and paraded as a presidential candidate on the PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) platform, when all and sundry thought he would be executed. This made Nigerians think he was the messiah; the one who could alleviate and ameliorate the sufferings and hibernated situations of the masses and the economy.

I write fiction and non-fiction and also write articles on any subject, especially that concerning the well-being of the poor masses. Disincorporate and Decentralize

Filed under: Business, Entrepreneurialism — Ed Howes @ 6:59 pm

If it seems that big government and big business are in bed together it is only because they are - father and child. Government defines a corporation as an artificial person. Amen! What if we chose not to do business with artificial persons and traded only with real people? Incorporation is a privilege sold to business by governments. The business receives limited liability, which is to say, limited responsibility. As we have recently seen, a corporation can make fortunes for its operators while stealing from everyone else. The owners are safe from prosecution because they have a government immunity privilege they may have paid millions for, over the years, paid by taxes collected for their creators.

They are the tentacles of the government octopus and major tax collectors. That the creators would bend over backwards to help and protect them is a matter of self preservation and public record. Outlaw incorporation or irresponsibility and the father/child incest comes to an end. So does the whole industry of corporate law. Don’t you just love it when a single solution solves many problems? What would things cost if lawyers didn’t get a cut of everything?

Easier said than done, huh? Government wants it. Business wants it. Who doesn’t? Only those who are tired of the rip offs, poisonings, degraded environment, social repression and all the negative isms, bald faced self interests have created. Protesters are a minority and we all know this is ‘democracy’ where majority rules. That deadly, silent majority that never quite joined the party. Why, if it was not for government and corporations, we would have no jobs and we would all die. Other paid work is just not reliable enough for us. It makes us insecure. We live for paydays. Aaah - there is the rub.

We enter the corporate world by pledge and agreement. We give up our natural rights for the corporate society, the corporate life. We become the bedrock support for the system and rarely know the difference, as we protest the materialism, which cannot exist without our tacit approval and us. When we protest the deeds of power and influence, we protest because it is not ours also. We are excluded from the table. A two sided triangle with only the people missing. It just isn’t fair and we hate things when they aren’t fair. Don’t ask me to fix it. I’ve got a job, a family and no time for politics. The whole thing can wait for someone who does, and wait - and wait.

When professional lawmakers and bureaucrats run the government, workers are not going to change the laws in any meaningful way. Their only real option is to withdraw support from the corporate world and create a non-corporate life. First a conscious choice, then a commitment and a plan. This is decentralization of power and government. It occurs proportionately to the withdrawal of support. If you support that which you despise, you are just another hypocrite. Shut up and do your job, which is your duty. Spend all your money on what you are told. That is your corporate duty too, Ms./Mr. Consumer. Let us compete with each other for corporate favor and privilege, as we have been taught so many years. Let us do nothing for ourselves for which we can somehow hire professionals. Let us not govern ourselves. Let us pay someone to govern us. Let us not heal our illnesses, let us hire medicine men. Let us not grow our own food, make our own clothes, build our own homes.

Corporate creatures can hire all things done. When we are finally and gratefully, utterly dependent on folks who mock and despise us, let us cry out with a loud voice; this isn’t fair! Let us point our fingers at them and demand satisfaction. Our demands are like spitting into the wind. Let us congratulate ourselves for voting and protesting and go back to our corporate lives. This is not just what it means to be American these days, it is what it means to be Western and civilized. Do as you are told and don’t forget to vote for more, more, more of every good thing. This we call freedom. Your children and grandchildren will too because the corporate world will ‘educate’ them, as they did you and me. In this they never cease, day nor night. In school, on radio, TV and all the major media. Think like this - do like that. And we do.

If we are going to change any of this, we must first change us, which also happens to be the easiest thing to do. Isn’t that a happy coincidence? If we will end our own corporate support and enslavement, it begins with that simple question; How can I? Don’t expect to receive answers to questions we refuse to ask. Can I have what I really want outside the corporate world? The answer is yes. You can choose not to buy from the corporate world, or at least buy a lot less of it and used, for starters. Likewise, you can choose not to sell to the corporate world and for the first time, your business will be nobody else’s. How much you earn or spend is no one’s business but yours. How you earn and on what you spend is also highly personal business that becomes semi public the minute you do business with the corporate world. If you work wisely, you can do work you love for more money and less hours than is possible in the corporate world. You don’t have to buy million dollar ads on TV to sell your products or services to enough people to earn a comfortable living. You have eliminated the hidden costs of the corporate world.

As more of the Western world comes out of Mystery Babylon, of which the World Trade Center was symbolic, the corporate world fades further in its economic power and influence. Politicians must look elsewhere for campaign financing. We get some relief from the incessant advertising that greases corporate wheels. We separate from a 20th Century machine as we refuse to be cogs in it. The corporate value system is that of the world. It is revealed in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 18, as the merchandise of Babylon - a long list from the highest value to the lowest. At the top is gold, followed by silver and precious stones. At the very bottom are slaves, followed by the souls of men. Does this value system seem familiar? It should, it is over 3,000 years old. When we reject this value system, we must operate from some other. Can we take the least valued thing in the Babylonian system and make it the most valuable? Let us disincorporate our lives and the world.

Stock Market Report That Wall Street Does Not Want You To Read

Filed under: Finance, Stocks-Mutual-Funds — David Jenyns @ 5:01 pm

The best way to maximize your profits is to be prepared to give some back to the Stock Market. When most traders first hear this, they are a little taken back. Why would you give any of your profits back to the Stock market; because you are never going to be able to exit right at the peak of the Stock market trend. But, you can still stay with the trend as it develops, and let your profits run in the Stock market. Then, when the price turns, you can exit.

Traditionally, an inexperienced trader will exit a position once they see a little bit of a profit in their trading account. They want to crystallize that profit immediately. People don`t like to lose, and they believe that those profits, made in the Stock Market, are their profits, and once they have them, they don`t want to risk giving them back to the Stock market.

Is the Stock market strategy written about in this article doomed to failure, since it breaks one of the cardinal rules of trading; to let your profits run? It is always wise to implement cardinal rules like this, but how do you implement this in the Stock market? Well, after you`ve defined your trading float, set your maximum loss, calculated your stop losses, and also calculated your position sizing – you can determine how to handle profits.

Once you`ve set your initial stop loss, you`ve ensured a mechanism to cut your losses short. Now you need to introduce a rule that allows your profits to run. By simply setting these two rules, you can control two important variables - whether or not you make a profit, and how much profit you`re going to make.

Of the two types of exits you use in the Stock market, hopefully it`s the ones we`re about to discuss now that you`ll get to implement more often, as these are the ones that are implemented once you`re in a profitable situation. Trailing stop losses will allow you to follow a trend as it develops in the Stock market, and exit the position at the point where you can realistically maximize your profits.

A simple example can illustrate the importance of a trailing stop loss. If you received a buy signal and purchased XYZ, and set your initial stop loss, you`d be sure to keep your losses small. But, your initial stop does not move. What happens if, after purchasing XYZ, the asset runs up a few hundred percent?

Unless you have a way to lock in the profit, you could keep that position until the share reverts all the way back down to your stop loss, where you would exit the trade. You would end up losing money even though there`s potential for some fantastic gains.

Obviously, you need to have a way to keep a situation like this from ever happening, and that`s exactly what a trailing stop does. This form of stop is adjusted on a periodic basis according to a mathematical formula that keeps it moving upward as the price moves upward.

After the first day of trading, if the price moves in your favour, or even if the shares volatility shrinks, then the trailing stop is moved in your favour. If the Stock Market then moved against you enough for your stop to be triggered, you would still take a loss, but it would not be as large as your initial stop loss.

The key to the trailing stop loss in the Stock market is that you need to adjust the asset continually to make sure that the stop is moved in your favour. A trailing stop loss is calculated in a way that is very similar to the way we calculated our initial stop loss. The only difference being rather than calculating our trailing stop loss from the entry price, we`re calculating our stop loss from the highest price since entry.

With a trailing stop loss in place, you will be able to let your profits run, and let your trading system deliver the maximum profit in the Stock Market.

Your Yearly Numerology Organizer for 2006

Filed under: Arts-and-Entertainment, Astrology — Vitae Bergman @ 4:43 pm

Every year offers you a new vibration for your work or play.

According to the numerology system of rhythms, we humans
journey through cycles that are nine years in duration.

Each year you enter a new vibration pattern for the cycle you
are in.

Knowing your major energy expression for a particular year,
you are more likely to govern your life more effectively.

You only need your Birthday Numbers you can play this game.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS

Combine the numbers of your month and day.

An example: Oct 25 – translates into 10 + 25, which adds up
to 35. Reduce this to a single digit and you get 8.

Now add up the number of the present year, 2006.
2006 adds up to 8.

So, 8 + 8 = 16 = 7. If Oct 25 were your actual birthday, your
number for 2006 would be 7. This would be your seventh year
in the nine-year cycle.

WHAT IS 2006 LIKE FOR YOU?

If this is a #1 year for you, you are beginning a whole new
cycle. Before launching into your new cycle, be sure no loose
ends are carried over from the previous nine-year cycle.

It may take all of January to rehearse what the previous nine
years have been for you. What major life lessons were you
grappling with and did you resolve those issues?

Next get a sense of what is before you to address in terms of
personal growth. What will you want to accomplish for yourself
in the next nine-year cycle? This is your year to focus on you.

These are big questions. Might mean a full year, this 1st year
of the nine years, devoted to this kind of self-examination.

Important to recognize the key features of your particular
nine-year cycle, which are based on the nine stages of life.
A person in her 20’s will be at a different stage of development
compared to one in her 30’s or 40’s…and so on.

If this is a #2 year for you, in terms of your major theme
for this nine-year cycle, you will do well to cultivate your
cooperative style. Arriving at a more balanced place with
yourself, and becoming more harmonious with your fellows
could be your major accomplishment for this year.

If this is a #3 year for you, then this is your year for making
big strides with your interactions with self and with others.
This means: become more creative, more flexible, more daring.
Don’t hang on to the tried and true mannerisms and ways that
have become ruts in your repertoire.

If this is a #4 year for you, then this year is best spent in stabilizing
and integrating the newly grasped accomplishments of the previous
three years. Get yourself ready for the big action coming up in the next
year. This can be viewed as your quiet period. Your friends might
wonder if you’ve buried yourself in a cave because you were so
expressive the year before. But in actuality you are establishing more
firmly the foundation from which you will be operating during the
remaining years of the cycle.

If this is a #5 year for you, then it’s the best year to be fully active
in your work or play. Your energy is high. This is a pivotal point as well.
You stand at the midpoint and can see where you have come from and
where you are going in terms of this cycle of personal growth. You can
clearly see how much you have improved your way of being. You are
ready to plunge into the world with your new sense of the inner
power that has made you more sturdy.

If this is a #6 year for you, now you are fully able to reach out and be
of service to others, more effectively than during the previous years of
this cycle. Your heart has matured to a more meaningful depth
of feeling. And you are able to bring your inner power to the fore and
apply it in all that you do, in your professional calling and in your personal relationships. And in the way you regard yourself as well.

If this is a #7 year for you, you find that your energy for learning new
things is quite high. You can afford to be more inquisitive than ever. You
feel as if you’ve returned to your school years, all there is to learn and
discover excites you. Wisdom will seem to be more accessible to you.

If this is a #8 year for you, then your leadership qualities want to have
expression. You are approaching the end of this cycle. You may be in your
30’s and have come to a better understanding of your power to lead.
Your urge to take charge of things will be ineluctable. You just know
what needs doing and how to get things moving. Obstacles are easily
and creatively dealt with. You can do what needs to be done with
sensitivity and with a caring heart.

AND FINALLY

If this is a #9 year for you, then you’ve reached a new level of wisdom. Your thoughts and actions reveal a beneficent heart. There’s a mellowness in your
Style and others take notice. They want to benefit from your insights and support.
You find yourself able to be more caring than ever. It’s been a good nine years.

Advantages of Compound Exercises

Filed under: Exercise, Health-and-Fitness — Michael Schmit @ 3:23 pm

One problem that many people have in the gym is that they only want to do exercises like bicep curls and chest flyes. These can be useful and have their place in a workout, but the main focus should be on compound exercises, which involve more than one muscle group. Squats, deadlifts, and the bench press are three lifts that should be included in everybody’s workout. Other compound exercises that I would recommend doing are pullups, dips, and shoulder presses. In this article, I will show you some of the advantages that compound lifts have over isolation exercises.

-Time: Doing compound exercises can save you time and shorten your workout. If you bench press, you are working your chest, shoulders, and triceps. Doing isolation movements for each of those muscles would take much more time than working them together. This can leave extra time in your workout for anything you want.

-Strength: You will be able to use much more weight when you are working more than one muscle group. This will increase your overall strength and size faster than using light weights. It will also strengthen the connective tissue that supports your muscles, which will help prevent certain injuries.

-Muscle: Because of the higher weights that you will be using, you will also gain more muscle mass. More of the smaller stabilizer muscles will be worked and your testosterone and growth hormone levels also increase after doing exercises like squats and deadlifts.

-Functionality: When you do an exercise such as squats, you are using your body as a unit. Your different body parts will work together to move the weight. Compound exercises will be more closely related to movements that you might do during the rest of your day such as move furniture or lift a heavy box.

-Calories: Using more muscles to lift the weight will also take more energy. If you are trying to burn calories, this is an efficient way to do it. Combining some compound movements with some cardio would be an effective calorie-burning workout.

Compound exercises have many benefits that make them a must for any workout plan. All beginners should focus on these lifts to develop a solid base. Isolation movements also have their place in a workout, but they shouldn’t be the focus. Whether your goal is to gain muscle or to lose fat, there is no excuse to not be doing your compounds!

The History of Popcorn

Popcorn is loved by young and old today. Popcorn itself dates back many centuries. It is believe by many historians that popcorn first came from Mexico. The oldest ears of corn have been found to come from a Bat Cave in west central Mexico around the year of 1948. It was here that Cachise Indians dating back to 2,500 B.C. are thought to have grown and eaten popcorn. History shows a funeral urn also found in Mexico from 300 A.D. that shows a picture of a maize god. The picture depicts this god holding some form of popcorn headdress. Popcorn kernels have also been found off the east coast of Peru as well.

The surprising fact about popcorn is that it was introduced to the Europeans by many Native American tribes. These English colonists were introduced to popcorn at the first Thanksgiving feast. The natives presented the popcorn as a gift of goodwill to the English settlers. Another interesting fact is that after the Europeans were introduced to popcorn we see the creation of breakfast cereal as they had the idea to mix the popcorn with milk and sugar.

Today there are a number of ways to pop popcorn. However, one of the earliest ways to make popcorn was to toast it over an open fire until it began to pop. The American Indians would pierce the center of the cob with something sharp then they would spread some form of oil over the cob and lay it almost in the fire. This would cause the kernel to pop attached to the ear.

Today there are other ways of making popcorn. There is the older method of using a popcorn popper where the loose kernels are poured into an electric device that heats the kernels and pops them. Butter can be melted on top of the machine and then can be poured over the popcorn. The most common way of making popcorn today however is through the use of a microwave. Most popcorn companies are producing microwave popcorn. The popcorn itself is in a bag and placed in the microwave, as it is heated the kernels pop inside the bag. After about two to three minutes you have a bag full of great tasting popcorn.
