What is your Baby Book Style?

Baby books come in a variety of styles. Here are popular picks:

Photo Album ? No doubt is left in your mind when you pick one of these up. Grandmas generally carry one around in their handbags. Photos, photos, photos - -that?s what they really want to show off! So give them a little baby book album.

Kodak Moments ? For those people showcasing super shots, many choose professional kits like Kodak Baby Book Memory Kits. They feature a 12×12 album with simulated-leather cover, sheets of themed solid colored paper and themed patterned paper, sheets of pre-printed stickers, assorted self-adhesive die-cut shapes, deckle scissors, photo safe glue stick, gel pens and decorated frames.

Gender-Specific ? Others choose pink or blue baby memory books, like the ones you can find locally at Target. They feature an inkpad for baby’s first hand and footprints, plenty of pages for scrapbooking and journaling, plus pages for Medical History, News of the Day, Family History, first five birthdays , plus first tooth and first curl envelopes.

Museum Style ? These baby books carry recorded history. Generally sturdy, hard cover books with stiff spines allow for one-time written entries, but no fun tooth- and hair-stuffing envelopes or scrapbooking room. These are for fancy coffee table settings in formal living rooms.

Personalized Style - These books are unique. You may find one with the scripted first name of the child in pink or blue, with a coordinating ribbon running top to bottom along the outside cover. Or you might find a nice photo of little Jane or little Johnnie on the front, a nice name template with her or his name scripted with a fine glitter pen underneath, and a family photo with short history blurb and template on the back cover. And inside you?ll find unique, hand-crafted scrapbooking pages matted with a colorful assortment of fabric or themed patterned backgrounds, and all sorts of assorted glitter, bows, ribbons, photos and other fun stuff inside.

Bound and Published ? Some people take a time out, assemble their pages and memorabilia and have it all bound; lock, stock and barrel. They may have a nice plastic ring binder for easy page turning, and inside you?ll find nifty written memory sections coordinated with photos and other neat saved items on each page.

Regardless of your style preferences and choices, there is something for everyone with baby memory books today.
