Building Your Website Search Engine Ranking by Purchasing Links

Filed under: Internet-and-Businesses-Online, Link-Popularity — Christopher Shireman @ 2:37 pm

By now you should have realized that it is a very, very, VERY good thing to be ranked highly in the search engines. So, how do you go about doing this? You get a bunch of links with your targeted keywords in them to point to your site. So, how do you do that?

Well, the old fashioned way is to email the owners of different sites that are related to yours and ask to exchange links. You then have to wait for them to get back to you and approve their link on your site before you get your link on theirs. This is what the search engines want you to do, it is what is called the ‘honest’ way of getting links to your site.

If you really don’t care about being honest and just want the search engine ranking, you can actually go out and purchase links to your website. There are some advantages and disadvantages to this method. The biggest advantage of purchasing links is that they are guaranteed to be there, with the link text that you specify. Some of the better companies that are selling links will rotate the link text and description for each site that your link appears on, making it look more natural. You can also control which sites are linking to you, so that only those sites that are related to yours will have links on them. These are also one-way links, which can rank much count for a lot more ‘points’ with the search engines.

The downside of purchasing links is that it is not exactly something that search engines and other webmasters like you to do. If you tell someone that you have purchased links to your website they will probably turn you in, and the search engines will ban your site.

So, purchasing links will help you with your search engines, ranking, but that is only if nobody finds out that you are doing it. There is a definite risk involved in doing this, but it might be worth it. Personally, I would rather write articles and submit them to article directories. Yes, it takes time to propagate the articles, the links are still one-way links and it is a more natural model for getting links.
